Drum Master blueprint ↗

Idle motion proof 01

Alive, without asking the drawing to lie.

This is the first safe movement test for the approved base. The outer contour, paws, ears, feet, and face are protected; only a feathered chest zone and a tiny grounded root settle are allowed to breathe.

Deliberately restrained: the arms do not move yet. A believable arm action needs clean authored drawings, so this test stops before it can create the soft, broken contours we rejected.

Safe mesh motion

01

Contour stays locked

The shader deformation falls to zero before the head, paws, arms, ears, feet, and exposed outline. No stretched character edge is ever shown.

02

Breath has phrasing

A shorter inhale, a soft release, and a real rest create life without a distracting perpetual bounce.

03

Reduced motion is real

The control and system preference both return immediately to the exact neutral reference — not an approximate paused frame.

Rive implementation lane

What transfers directly into the native file.

This web proof does not pretend to be the exported Rive file. It is a visual test of the exact motion envelope the native image mesh and root controls will use once the fresh `Drum_Master` file is created.

  • A
Chest meshA small internal weight field creates the slow inhale/release; exterior vertices stay pinned.
  • B
Root + shadowLess than two screen pixels of grounded vertical settle and a responding shadow.
  • C
Face is intentionally heldBlink and gaze wait for clean face-layer preparation instead of revealing a reconstructed background.
  • D
Action lane stays emptyThe arm/action tracks remain unavailable until new drawings pass the contour review gate.
Why the character can stay this clean

The live canvas samples the sealed `drum-idle.png` directly. Its deformation mask is confined to the interior chest area and has a zero-valued falloff before every exterior feature. Exact-reference mode bypasses the canvas entirely and displays the approved PNG, so it is always possible to compare the moving proof with the true source.
